Introduction to Shaping Culture

Description

There comes a time in every generation when that generation must choose whether to pine or plan. For the Christian, there is only one acceptable option – to design and intentionally shape culture according to the pattern of heaven. Shaping Culture explores God’s mandate in Genesis 1:28 to purposefully create our reality. This course delves into Christ’s redemption of culture, the priesthood of every believer, and the biblical mandate to intentionally work with God to create flourishing communities.

Examining the seven-mountain strategy – religion, family, educations, Arts and Entertainment, the economy, and government, the course identifies the needs on these mountains and initiates a dialogue for seeking solutions for human flourishing and God’s glory.
